What is Minnie Noir?
Minnie Noir started as my thesis project at DePaul University. It centers on Minnie Hughes, the shortest girl in her fourth grade class, who fashions herself in a private eye. Together with her best friend Lincoln, she solves elementary school crimes.
The pilot won Best Comedy Pilot at DePaul’s 2017 Premiere Festival and ever since it’s been my dream project. Included here are some of the scripts I’ve written for it over the years, a pitch bible with character design done by the incredible Angel Lorenzana, and animatics by the fabulous Erica Wester.
